Small Groups...

Throughout the week, Vineyard people gather in small groups to experience a more intimate fellowship. Small groups provide the opportunity for us to get to know one another personally, to spend time talking at length about the things of God, to pray for one another, and to experience God’s ministry through others.

Small groups at the Vineyard promote and encourage:

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to share in His ministry
• Friendship with other Christians
• Love and Service to those inside and outside the church
• Connection to the Vineyard
• Regular interaction with scripture

This list provides a brief description of small groups that meet in homes. These groups provide a church experience in a more intimate setting where it is easier to get to know others. On Sunday mornings you can pick up flyers for these groups at the small groups table located at the back of the church. Wednesdays

Home Star Kinship

• Mountain View
• Meets weekly at 7:30pm - 9:30pm
• Leaders: Michael Trask, Joe & Lindsay Quadara
• 20/30 something but open to all, outreach

Our Home Group

• Mountain View
• Meets weekly at 7:00pm - 9:30pm
• Leader: Margaret Venables
• Social justice/service, open to all–especially newcomers, can work with kids

The Rock

• Palo Alto
• Meets weekly at 7:30pm - 9:30pm
• Leaders: Elaine Zuber & David Woon
• 20/30 something newcomers

The Family Group

• Sunnyvale
• Meets weekly at 6:00pm - 8:00pm
• Leaders: Matt & Heather Stringer
• Bible Study, worship, community outreach, open to all, can work with kids

These groups offer a more specialized community purpose.

JCT: The Justice and Compassion Team provides support and encouragement, resources and prayer. For information about events and schedules, contact Katie at Kfantin@yahoo.com, or 650-400-8180.

BAM BAMs: (Babies and Mommies, Blessings and Mysteries!) is a group for first time mothers. We meet twice monthly (with our babies) for fellowship, encouragement, and prayer. Our meeting times and locations vary. Please join us! For more information, contact Heather Stringer via the church office.
