Director of Children’s Ministries
(Up to half-time, director level, benefits available)
We are looking for an experienced and gifted minister who will report to the Lead Pastor, and partner with staff to vision and strategically plan for the future of the church. Previous pastoral or significant lay leadership experience in children’s ministries is desired.
This person will:
- Oversee, develop, and grow Children’s Ministries.
- Demonstrate strengths and gifts that balance and complement our existing staff team.
- Shape the structure of the ministry for the future.
- Directly recruit, train and supervise leaders.
Develop Children's Ministries by:
- Leading in recruitment, training and development of ministry volunteers
- Overseeing selection, development and implementation of curriculum
- Strategically planning future of children’s ministries
- Teaching children and partnering with parents
- Overseeing children’s ministries community events
- Accessing and providing resources for parents/ministry volunteers for education and training, and spiritual formation
- Shepherding children and families by way of baby dedications, baptisms and other significant community events and celebrations
- Ensuring compliance with safety and legal regulations
- Discipling of intern staff in leadership and ministry
