Here’s our quick guide to getting involved at the Vineyard.
It is our hope that you will find it easy to get connected to our
community. We offer several Newcomer Lunches after second service
as a way to casually meet the pastors and leaders in our church,
ask questions, and enjoy a light lunch together. Digging
In is the next stop after you've come to one of our worship
services and want to learn more about what makes us tick. If you've
been coming for a while and you call the Vineyard "home",
then we encourage you to get into the ministry:
one of the easiest ways to get into our community is to work along
side of a fellow traveler. See below for more opportunities. We
look forward to meeting you and getting to know you.
visit us on sunday morning
The Vineyard Christian Fellowship of the
Peninsula hosts two Sunday morning services, one at 9a.m. and 11a.m.
In both services, Children's Programs are available for infants
and preschoolers. For Elementary-age kids up to fifth-grade and
Senior and Middle High students, programs are available only during
the second service. There is also an area for mothers and infants
available with piped-in sound from the service.
Our services include a teaching about scripture, opportunities for worship and personal and corporate prayer. Click here for more information about our services.

attend a digging in event
Two times a year, the Vineyard holds a
special event for newcomers or those who are looking for ways to
get more connected. This 4-1/2 hour event is held in a warm and
inviting home and features a lovingly prepared gourmet
meal. Our pastors and other speakers share about the history, vision,
and values of our church; and small-group leaders attend to share
how to get involved in home groups that meet during the week. This
is a great way to make friends and dig into church life.
Digging In is held in the fall and spring.
Childcare is always provided. The next Digging In event is on Sunday,
May 4 from 3:00p.m. to 7:30p.m. Call the church office at 650.327.5727
for more details or to sign up.

Participate in a small group
Throughout the week, Vineyard people gather in small groups to
experience the kind of close relationships that are not always possible
on Sunday morning. Small groups provide the opportunity for us to
get to know one another personally, to spend time talking at length
about the things of God, to pray for one another, or to experience
God’s ministry through others. You can attend groups that
focus on community and friendship, or that focus on growing in our
walk with Christ, or you can attend a group to receive prayer. For
more on small groups, click here.

sign up for alpha
The Alpha Course is a practical introduction to what Christians
believe. It is a great place to ask questions and meet others with
similar questions. It is for new Christians, Christians who want
to brush up on the basics, or people who just want to learn more
about faith in a Christian context. It is a 10-week course that
provides the opportunity to learn about the Christian faith in a
comfortable environment. Meetings include a shared meal and lively
discussion. The next Alpha group starts Thursday, March 27 at 6:30p.m.
for a kick off dinner. For more information on the Alpha program,
check out the Alpha
USA Web site or contact the church office to sign up at (650)
327-5727 or info@vcfp.org.
