our vision
to worship God with the entire body through movement in order to:
- praise Him with our whole selves
- lead God’s people into worship
- share the gifts God has given us with others
To be a worshipping community
- we worship God in spirit and in truth | John 4:23 - But an hour is coming and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.
- we praise God with dancing | Psalm 149:3 - Let them praise His name with dancing; Let them sing praises to Him with timbrel and lyre.
- we desire to encourage and lead God’s people into His presence.
To be a healing community
- we present our bodies as a sacrifice of worship to God | Romans 12:1 - I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
- we intercede for others with movement | Ps. 30:11 - Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; Thou hast loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness.
To be an equipping community
- we pursue individual relationships with God | Psalm 27: 7 - 8 - Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice, And be gracious to me and answer me. When Thou didst say, “Seek My face,” my heart said to Thee, “Thy face, O Lord, I shall seek.”
- we invite the word of God to dwell in us and to be revealed in our worship | Colossians 3:16 - Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
- we seek excellence in our worship skills with dance and movement
To be an expanding community
- we visually express God’s excellence through dance and movement | I Peter 2:9 - But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
- we share our skills in interpretive dance with the Christian community and beyond so that others might experience God through movement
