who we are
At the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of the Peninsula we seek to foster a lively Christian community experience for each child: a safe place where children can enjoy great learning and caring relationships. We believe learning God's Word should be inspiring, relevant and fun to the children of today. We endeavor to support each family in building a strong and lasting spiritual foundation that will, in God’s timing, lead to a child living a life in relationship with Jesus Christ.
Children’s Ministries is about...
- God -and welcoming each child into an experience of his love and grace
- Being kids -and understanding each is uniquely made by God with special gifts for bringing glory to Him and serving others
- Friendships- creating enduring and supportive relationships as part of the church community
- Growing in Jesus- laying a solid spiritual foundation for a life of walking with Jesus Christ.

our programs
We offer age-appropriate programs that serve children from infancy through 5th grade.
The infant and toddler nursery is a warm, bright environment where babies experience love and comfort and toddlers are free to explore and play. Parents can feel at ease while they participate in the service. The ministry believes that even at this tender age, children are welcomed into an experience of God’s Holy Spirit.
The preschool programs provide fun learning experiences for children as they discover God’s love and grace. Children explore relationships and themes through Bible stories using a variety of activities and materials. Children participate in free play and also in directed large and small group activities. Volunteers are dedicated to providing a program that is nurturing, consistent, and predictable for children at this age.
Kids' Church is the elementary program at the Vineyard. After worshipping with the adults in the main service, the children gather for Bible teaching, discussion, prayer, and crafts. We strive to make each child’s experience in Kids' Church fun, relevant, and meaningful using a variety of teaching styles, activities, and materials.
The ministry welcomes children with special needs and their families. Children with special needs are integrated, accepted, involved, and supported. And we won't just serve special needs children and their families, but grow to understand, delight and celebrate the gift from God that they are to our fellowship and community. Please use this form to tell us more about your child's special needs.
- Our Extreme Parenting group is a place for parents to share their journey, and receive support and prayer during the week. Please check the church calendar for time and location.
